What You'll Do

As a Pet Sitter with Protected Petz, you'll provide premium in-home care tailored to each pet's unique needs. Your responsibilities may include:

• Feeding and refreshing water
• Dog walking and exercise
• Administering medications
• Playing, cuddling, and providing companionship
• Cleaning up pet waste and accidents
• Monitoring health and behavior
• Providing basic first aid if needed
• Maintaining clear communication with clients and our team

Most of our clients have dogs and cats, but we also care for a variety of animals, including birds, rabbits, reptiles, amphibians, and even miniature donkeys. Every day brings something new.

Because all visits are livestreamed and recorded, you'll need to be comfortable on camera and committed to professionalism, honesty, and transparency. Our clients place tremendous trust in us, and we work hard every day to earn it.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• Extremely reliable and accountable
• Comfortable working independently
• Honest, professional, and respectful
• A strong communicator
• Comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Available during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Live within 20 miles of Fort Thomas, KY
• Have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance
• Own a smartphone with a reliable service plan
• Be willing to complete a background check
• Be physically capable of walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Be comfortable working outdoors and traveling in all weather conditions
• Previous pet care experience is strongly preferred
